There's lots to do!

A few examples:

- visit the Abbey Church of Saint-Savin (about 30 minute drive)

- use the barbeque

- take a signposted walk from a different village or just start from our premises!

- play ping-pong (yes, you can set up our table tennis)

- rent a canoe or bike in Le Blanc, be transfered further on the river and have a whole day of canoeing back or cycle around

- visit the lovely churches and/ or villages

- take a swim in the pool

- visit the local markets at wednesday morning

- visit the National Parc de la Brenne (about 30 minute drive)

- visit the 'brocantes' in summer (absolutely recommended)

- catch a fish

- play some golf in the area:

Golf du Connetable: This 18 hole parkland course is located at La Roche Posay (86). Par 72, 6,014 metres. Swimming and tennis at the clubhouse.

Golf du Manoir de Beauvoir: 18 hole woodland golf course, near to Poitiers at Mingaloux-Beauvoir (86). 18 holes, par 72, 6.098 metres. Swimming pool and restaurant facilities available at the clubhouse.

- There is also a great swim lake in Chaillac 22 km from the estate you can swim there and fish 30 min drive

-Visit Oradour sur Glane the village what is destroyed by the Germans in June 1944 it is an memorable visit, then you see what war is, horrible..
